Get your retro groove on with this beginner’s macrame workshop. Macrame was huge in the 70s – but today’s macrame is far more modern (read: less gaudy).

In this workshop you’ll learn basic macrame knots and you’ll make a stylish plant hanger for your favorite leafy friend. Each person will learn how to tie basic macrame knots and how to create a structure to hold your favorite plant pot. You'll leave with a completed plant hanger, a 4" fishbowl style glass to hang in it, and a succulent to plant in it at home. You'll also get a handout with photos, so you can turn macrame into your new favorite hobby!

Petaluma Workshops are held at Second Street Flowers and are "Happy Hour" workshops with free beer & wine.

Sonoma Workshops are held at Cornerstone Sonoma and include a glass of wine from Meadowcroft Winery, plus discounted two-for-one tastings in their Tasting Room after the workshop.

Petaluma Dates:
Thurs. June 15th, 6-8pm
Thurs. Aug. 10th, 6-8pm

Sonoma Dates:

natural skincare workshop

If you've ever spent way too much on luxurious, all natural, chemical-free skincare products (or dreamed of doing so), then this workshop is for you. And even better, you can sample wines from Meadowcroft while you craft!

In this amazing smelling workshop, you'll learn how to make a variety of exfoliating and moisturizing scrubs for your face and body, using all natural ingredients. Each student will take home a collection of their own handmade skincare products - keep them for yourself, or share with friends! You'll also learn where to order supplies so you can continue making these luxurious products at home.

During the workshop, students that are at 21+ will get to sample wine from Meadowcroft Wines, which focuses on crafting limited production, vineyard designate wines. Sample a glass of wine during the workshop, then join your classmates afterward in Meadowcroft's Tasting Room, just steps away from the workshop location, for a two-for-one tasting flight of their wines.

Note: We use only essential oils, not fragrance oils, so people who are sensitive to synthetic fragrance should be okay. But be aware that the essential oils do smell very strongly, so if you're extra sensitive, this may not be the class for you.
