Get your retro groove on with this beginner’s macrame workshop. Macrame was huge in the 70s – but today’s macrame is far more modern (read: less gaudy).

In this workshop you’ll learn basic macrame knots and you’ll make a stylish plant hanger for your favorite leafy friend. Each person will learn how to tie basic macrame knots and how to create a structure to hold your favorite plant pot. You'll leave with a completed plant hanger, a 4" fishbowl style glass to hang in it, and a succulent to plant in it at home. You'll also get a handout with photos, so you can turn macrame into your new favorite hobby!

Petaluma Workshops are held at Second Street Flowers and are "Happy Hour" workshops with free beer & wine.

Sonoma Workshops are held at Cornerstone Sonoma and include a glass of wine from Meadowcroft Winery, plus discounted two-for-one tastings in their Tasting Room after the workshop.
